Brad rupert for jeffco school board

About Brad

Brad was born and raised in Colorado.
Brad's access to quality, public schools is what prepared him for a career in business, law and community service.

Brad’s volunteer activities are many and varied. He started volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver in 1996 working on home sites and locating potential construction sites. He continues to work on home sites and organizes a pumpkin patch fundraiser for Habitat every year. Brad joined the Arvada Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2000 and served as President in 2002 during a challenging time of rebuilding for the Chamber. Brad started volunteering for the Arvada Community Food Bank in 2007 and joined the Board of Directors in 2008. Brad served four years as Board President as the Food Bank experienced record demand during the Great Recession, expanded its services and expanded its coverage area to include most of northern Jefferson County. Brad joined the Board of Directors for Kiwanis Club of Arvada-Jefferson in 2009 and again in 2011, completing his term as President in September of that year. Brad has dedicated nearly twenty years to community service in northern Jefferson County. Much of that service has been in leadership roles, solving problems and implementing new strategic visions. Brad’s two children graduated from Ralston Valley High School and has had step-grandchildren attend Arvada High School and North Arvada Middle School. These experiences demonstrated both the best our District has to offer, and some of the challenges we face. Having completed his first term on the Jeffco School Board, Brad is running again to keep Jeffco moving forward on the path toward further success for our children, our educators, and our community.
